The world is finally making a change in order to make things greener – Fabián Narváez Tovar

A report from the United Nations has shown that the renewables are set in motion, becoming stronger as the days go by and those who ignore it will be left behind. And Fabián Narváez Tovar, a promoter in the green energy industry, knows it.

Last year after renewable power installments increased by nine per cent over 2015 to nearly 2,017 gigawatts the Solar photovoltaic accounted for around 47 per cent of the total additions, followed by wind energy at 34 per cent and lastly hydropower at 15.5 per cent, according to the report.

“There is nothing more important than a healthy environment and healthy people, and to clean up our energies is pivotal to the solution” said Narváez Tovar when interviewed by our reporter.

As the shift to clean power continues, renewables are becoming the least costly option as recent examples in Denmark, Egypt, India, Mexico, Peru and the United Arab Emirates show that energy has been delivered well below the equivalent costs for fossil fuel and nuclear energy in each of these countries.

“The US, Mexico and the world is adjusting to these changes each year, adding in more renewable power capacity in order to make energy cleaner and cheaper for all of us,” finalized Fabián Narváez.
