A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing 94-year-old man who was last seen around 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Officials are searching for Richard Terrell Jennings. They say Jennings last spoke with a family member by phone and told them he was stuck in traffic along Emancipation Avenue.

Jennings’ family said he was trying to drive himself to the Volkswagen dealership off of Kirby and Richmond to get an oil change, but are not sure if he ever made it there.

Jennings was driving a dark brown 2011 Volkswagen with Texas handicap plate #2DDPH. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Jennings is urged to contact authorities at 713-308-3600.

On Thursday, officials said they spotted a vehicle similar to Jennings in Huntsville. His family also told ABC13 they have pictures of Jennings license plate in Huntsville.
