Al Nassr Reclaims Third Position with 1-3 Win Over Al Khaleej
Cristiano Ronaldo continues to prove his brilliance in Saudi Arabia, and once again, he was the standout player in Al Nassr’s 1-3 win over Al Khaleej. The team from Riyadh secured an important victory, moving back into third place in the Saudi Pro League, though they remain eight points behind the leaders, Al Ittihad and Al Hilal.
Ronaldo, who is chasing the historic milestone of 1,000 career goals, netted a brace, bringing him closer to this remarkable achievement. With these two goals, the Portuguese star now has 919 goals in his professional career, solidifying his status as one of the greatest goal scorers in football history.
The first goal from Ronaldo came in the 65th minute, a strike from outside the box following an assist from Otavio. Although it seemed like that goal would secure the win, Al Khaleej equalized in the 80th minute, forcing Al Nassr to fight until the final moments. However, Al Ghannam scored shortly after to make it 1-2, and Ronaldo sealed the victory with a penalty, one of his specialties, to make it 1-3.
With 13 goals in the Saudi Pro League, Cristiano Ronaldo leads the league’s top scorers, ahead of players like Mitrovic and Benzema, further proving why he is regarded as one of the best players in football history.
