David Lynch tells Naomi Watts: ‘Stop it b**ch’
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

DAVID Lynch gave Naomi Watts her big break in Mulholland Drive and cast her in his Twin Peaks sequel. So what’s behind their strange Instagram chat?

Watts shared the text chat between her and Twin Peaks director Lynch that left many online scratching their heads.

Watts has recently reunited with Lynch on the new season of Twin Peaks where she plays Janey-E Jones the wife of Douglas ‘Dougie’ Jones, played by Kyle MacLachlan.

Responding to a message from Lynch to meet him at 1pm, Watts replies, “I’m Janey E and I will come when I want to!!!!”

“Of course, Jeez what was I thinking — please don’t be mad at me,” Lynch replies.

“I’m going to serve you your ass,” Watts then says.

The banter goes back and forth with Lynch seemingly happy to let Watts explore her Twin Peaks persona.

She writes later, “I know you’re meditating but … just sending a buzzing sound to remind you I can mess with you because I’m Janey E,” she wrote.

“Dear sweet Janey-E. I’m trying to meditate now. I’m sorry darling but this is sort of trying my patience — STOP IT B**CH!!!!!!!”

Watts captioned the post: “Chatting with my buddy Dave #davidlynch #twinpeaks #dougie #nuffsaid.”

The pair have been good friends since 2001 when Lynch cast Watts in Mulholland Drive.
