Sunshine, pleasant temps and dry roads will greet travelers around Texas on Sunday. Meteorologist Travis Herzog says dry northeasterly winds coming in from Louisiana will keep the sky nearly cloud-free. Today’s highs will run about 5 degrees cooler than Saturday’s, peaking in the mid 70s.
It will be a little colder when everyone heads back to work and school on Monday. Travis says the kiddos will need their jackets at the bus stop as temperatures dip into the upper 40s Monday morning.
Most of the week ahead will be sunny. There is a small chance of a few spotty showers on Wednesday. But like the last few cold fronts, most areas will stay dry. Travis says if Bush Airport gets no more rain this month, this November will go down tied as the 4th driest one in Houston’s recorded history.
