Pierce Brosnan is remembering his daughter Charlotte, who died 7 years ago due to ovarian cancer.
The former James Bond took to Instagram on Monday to wish a happy birthday to his 5-year-old granddaughter, Marley May Cassandra, and to honor Charlotte, who died at age 41.
“Here’s looking at you kid,” Brosnan captioned the photo. “In remembrance of Charlotte and with happy birthday wishes for my darling Marley May.”
Brosnan added that his wife, Keely Shaye Smith, took the photo, which featured him lounging outdoors.
Brosnan first shared the news of Charlotte’s death in a statement to People in 2013.
