A line of heavy storms will blow in with a front later today. Meteorologist Travis Herzog says we can expect a few light showers and abundant clouds in the morning. Thunderstorms will develop north of Houston early in the afternoon, then rumble through for the drive home and Rodeo Houston.
Travis says the slow-moving storms could dump a quick 1-3″ of rain, leading to minor street flooding. Widespread severe weather is not expected, but isolated hailstorms with gusty winds are possible, especially north of I-10 where the storms initially form.
After this slow-moving front clears out the moisture Tuesday, we’ll catch a couple cool, sunny days before another wet weather system blows in for the first weekend of spring break.
