A Houston-area man was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for shooting the death of a woman who refused to give him her cell phone.
Dondrick Flagg, 31, asked Tiffany Mcknight to hand over her cell phone when he saw her sitting in her car talking on the phone. The woman refused, but he took her out of the vehicle, threw her to the ground and shot her four times.
The 29-year-old woman died at the scene, and Flagg was arrested after he tried to flee with the woman’s keys. However, he was arrested when denounced by neighbors. The crime occurred in April 2018.
