It’s cold outside! Meteorologist Travis Herzog says temps are bottoming out from the mid-30s to the low-40s across the majority of southeast Texas, and frost is likely to form north of Houston on grassy surfaces and rooftops where the winds calm down.
As the ABC13 Weather Team has been forecasting since last week, Thanksgiving Day will warm up nicely into the mid-60s under a mostly sunny sky.
Travis says the beautiful weather will continue right through the holiday weekend as a weak front blows in late Saturday. A stronger cold front is likely to arrive around Wednesday of next week.
