A wrecker driver has been hospitalized after authorities say he was found shot in Spring.
At around 5:35 a.m. Wednesday, deputies say they responded to an initial call of a major crash involving a tow truck in the 2000 block of Spring Stuebner.
When they arrived, deputies found a wrecker driver in a ditch with a gunshot wound to the chest. Deputies say the driver was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.
At this time, authorities say they do not know where the shooting happened or what the driver was doing before the shooting took place.
