The calendar may say fall, but it still feels like summer in Houston. Meteorologist Travis Herzog says it’ll continue to feel that way until the weekend. In the mean time, expect a few afternoon showers to go with the heat and humidity.
A fall cool front will move through Thursday, but Travis says you won’t really feel the changes until Friday and the weekend. The bulk of the rainfall associated with the front will impact west and central Texas, so our rain chances are less than 50%. You’ll first notice the humidity dropping during the day Friday, then you’ll feel the slightly cooler temperatures over the weekend.
