The Harris County Sheriff’s Office plans to announce Monday new efforts to prevent hot car deaths.
Sheriff Ed Gonzalez and community partners say they’re teaming up to help parents avoid leaving children in hot cars.
So far, at least nine kids have died in hot cars this year nationwide.
One of those cases was near Baytown.
