Formula 1 and Mattel, the leading global toy and family entertainment company, have unveiled a new product range that will allow fans to bring the speed and excitement of F1 into their homes with iconic Hot Wheels cars.

The new Formula 1 Hot Wheels collection will launch globally throughout 2025 and feature cars from eight F1 teams. The collection will include various products, such as single and 5-pack assortments, premium collector’s items, and F1 track and playsets. This follows the launch of the limited edition 1:64 die-cast F1 branded car in 2024.

The iconic 1:64 scale Hot Wheels Basics cars are designed for high-speed races on the specially created Formula 1 Sprint Circuit and Formula 1 Sprint Race tracks. The Sprint Circuit allows players to race and overtake their way to the chequered flag, while the Sprint Race set features a DRS booster for an extra speed boost.

The collection also includes Premium models with additional details, including metal bodies and chassis, authentic team liveries, driver numbers, and Pirelli tyres to make them even closer to the real F1 cars.

“It’s fantastic to see the Hot Wheels Formula 1 collection hit the shelves globally,” said Emily Prazer, Chief Commercial Officer at Formula 1. “These beautifully designed cars will let fans experience the thrill and excitement of F1 in the palm of their hands.”

Roberto Stanichi, Executive Vice President of Hot Wheels, added, “The response from fans has been overwhelming, and this new phase of our partnership with F1 will bring fans products and experiences like never before.”

In 2025, Mattel will also have a presence at selected Grands Prix, offering fan-focused Hot Wheels activations and retail opportunities that will bring families together and further fuel their passion for the sport.
