The Disaster Supplement Nutrition Assistance Program better known as D-SNAP is causing traffic delays today.
The D-SNAP registration is open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Alexander Duessen Park, 12303 Sonnier St.
Long lines continue for Hurricane Harvey victims applying for the short-term food benefits.
In hopes of reducing the lines, Metro is offering shuttles to the D-SNAP sites.
The shuttles will be provided today through Friday, Oct. 20 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
METRO shuttles will depart from three locations:
JJ Robertson Family Life Center, 4810 Red Bud St.
Acres Homes Multi Service Center, 6719 W. Montgomery Road
The Tabernacle of Praise, 8814 Tidwell Road
