Thieves going for easy cash tried to hit an ATM at Miller Outdoor Theatre in Houston’s Hermann Park.
Police say thieves pulled up in a large SUV and knocked the ATM off a pedestal that also held a statue of Oliver Twist outside the theater offices.
Witnesses say the crooks took off. It’s not clear if they got away with any cash.
