Houston police are on the scene of a SWAT standoff with a suspect in southwest Houston.
Police say an armed man is barricaded inside an apartment in the 8900 block of South Gessner. It’s believed other people are inside the apartment with the suspect.
Residents are advised to use an alternate route to avoid the area.
